• The county received 10 bids ranging from $7.2 million to $14.3 million. The lowest, qualified bidder was Volt Telecom Group at $7.2 million.
• Assessments will not be exactly known until the project is complete.
• There may be some Surtax money applied to help buy-down the cost of construction. You will be notified. Your share of the assessment does not have to be paid all at once.
• The assessment will appear on your property tax bill after the project is complete. When complete in 2009, it will take some months to calculate final costs. If you prefer to spread out the payments over several years this can be arranged when you sign up for water service.

Water capacity fee for single family homes			$2,720
Water meter installation			$100
Monthly water usage of 4,000 gallons			$25
On-lot cost estimate paid to your plumber			$500 - $1000

• Water capacity fees can be financed over 20 years at 3% interest, billed monthly. There is a small fee for the Clerk of Courts to record the lien.
• At the time of connection a $75 deposit is required. It is waived if the applicant has good credit.
